Trap (Attack)Description: When a monster’s health has dropped below 40%, you can trap monsters.
You can capture monsters in its habitat. Then it can be used as a mount.
Level 1: MP -10; Capture a monster. Can capture up to five different kinds.
Description: Consumes MP to calls out your pet to help. Captured monsters are summoned randomly.
Prerequisite: Trap Level 1

Wild Hunter (1st Job) – Levels 10-29
Description: Use MP to quickly shoot three arrows.
Level 1: MP -6, 71% Damage.
Level 10: MP -10, 80% Damage.
Level 20: MP -15, 90% Damage.
Description: Jump on yourjaguar to increase speed and jump
Level 1: MP -10; +2 speed/+1 jump.
Level 10: MP -20; +20 speed/+10 jump.
Level 15: MP -30; +30 speed/+15 jump.
Description: Jump to remain afloat in the air, then jump again in the same direction.
Level 1: MP -52; jumps a certain distance.
Level 10: MP -25; jumps a certain distance.

Description: Uses MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the crossbow. It only works with a crossbow in hand.
Level 1: MP -62; Increase in crossbow attacking speed for 48 seconds.
Level 10: MP -35; Increase in crossbow attacking speed for 75 seconds.
Level 15: MP -20; Increase in crossbow attacking speed for 90 seconds.
Wild Hunter (2nd Job) – Levels 30-69
Description: Increases the crossbow mastery and accuracy. It only applies when a crossbow is in hand.
Level 1: +15% crossbow mastery, +1 accuracy
Level 10: +35% crossbow mastery, +10 accuracy
Level 20: +60% crossbow mastery, +20 accuracy
Description: Fires arrows with bombs attached to it. If struck cleanly, the bomb explodes on the enemy, knocking out some of the enemies around with a certain success rate. Can’t attack more than 6 at once, and it only works with a bow in hand.
Level 1: MP -14; Stunner 11%, damage 93%
Level 10: MP -16; Stunner 20%, damage 120%
Level 20: MP -20; Stunner 30%, damage 150%
Level 30: MP -24; Stunner 40%, damage 180%
Jaguar Roar (Attack)
Description: Jaguar rushes the enemy and deal knockback damage, then moves back away.
Level 1: MP -11; 63% Damage.
Level 10: MP -14; 90% Damage.
Level 20: MP -18; 120% Damage.
Description: Temporarily allows the character to fire crossbow arrows without using up the arrows. Only works with a crossbow in hand.
Level 1: MP -15; Attack for 15 seconds without using up an arrow.
Level 10: MP -15; Attack for 150 seconds without using up an arrow.
Level 10: MP -30; Attack for 300 seconds without using up an arrow.
Description: Every time you move a certain distance, automatically a mine drops. After a certain amount of time away from land mines, they will explode.
Level 1: MP -15; lasts for 33 seconds.
Level 10: MP -19; lasts for 60 seconds.
Level 20: MP -27; lasts for 90 seconds.
Description: Swallow monsters infront of jaguar. Monsters in range for over 0.5 seconds will be swallowed then spit out to deal damage. Fire attack that hits up to 6 enemies.
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Level 1: MP -11, 155% Damage when spit out, swallow enemy for up to 10 seconds.
Level 10: MP -13, 200% Damage when spit out, swallow enemy for up to 20 seconds.
Level 20: MP -17, 250% Damage when spit out, swallow enemy for up to 40 seconds.
Wild Hunter (3rd Job) – Levels 70-119
Description: Improve ability to ride Jaguar.
Level 1: +1 Speed, +1 Jump, increase damage by 2% while riding.
Level 10: +5 Speed, +10 Jump, increase damage by 20% while riding.
Level 1: +10 Speed, +20 Jump, increase damage by 40% while riding.
Description: Shoot 5 arrows at the enemy at a high speed.
Level 1: MP -14; 61% Damage.
Level 10: MP -20; 70% Damage.
Level 20: MP -26; 80% Damage.
Level 30: MP -29; 90% Damage.
Description: Jaguar moves quickly foward, striking up to six enemies.

Description: Black traps contain monsters that will damage outside monstrers. Monsters can deal damage to these traps.

Level 10: MP -25; Summon trap with 5000 HP, 50 Attack, lasts for 20 seconds.
Level 20: MP -33; Summon trap with 8000 HP, 60 Attack, lasts for 40 seconds.
Description: Lower the enemies accuracy for a period of time.
Level 1: MP -14; reduce enemy accuracy by 1% for 33 seconds, 11% success rate.
Level 10: MP -20; reduce enemy accuracy by 10% for 60 seconds, 20% success rate.
Level 1: MP -32; reduce enemy accuracy by 20% for 33 seconds, 30% success rate.
Description: Silver hawk is summoned. For a period of time, this silver hawk will follow you and attack monsters.
Level 1: MP -26; deals 61 damage, 52% chance of stun for 33 seconds.
Level 10: MP -30; deals 70 damage, 70% chance of stun for 60 seconds.
Level 20: MP -26; deals 80 damage, 90% chance of stun for 90 seconds.
Description: Jaguar attacks up to three enemies with four quick consecutive hits.

Wild Hunter (4th Job) – Levels 120-200
Description: Increases the Crossbow Mastery as well as weapon attack. The skill only applied with a crossbow in hand.
Prerequisite: Crossbow Mastery 20
Level 1: Crossbow Mastery 65%.
Level 10: Crossbow Mastery 70%, Weapon attack + 3.
Level 20: Crossbow Mastery 80%, Weapon attack + 6.
Level 30: Crossbow Mastery 90%, Weapon attack + 10.
Description: Provides the party members an ability to locate the enemy’s weakness, and in turn inflict lethal damage by exploiting it.
Level 1: MP -29, for 10secs, Critical rate 1%, Damage + 11%.
Level 10: MP -29, for 100secs, Critical rate 5%, Damage + 20%.
Level 20: MP -37, for 200secs, Critical rate 10%, Damage + 30%.
Level 30: MP -40, for 300secs, Critical rate 15%, Damage + 40%.
Description: Launch a spinning, geared machine into the air that fires hundreds of arrows causing lots of damage. Hits up to 15 enemies.
Cooldown: 1 minute
Level 1: MP -210, 620% Damage.
Level 10: MP -300, 800% Damage.
Level 20: MP -400, 1000% Damage.
Level 30: MP -500, 1200% Damage.
Description: Use your jaguar to create sharp sound waves causing explosion. Up to 6 close enemies will be damaged and possibly stunned.
Level 1: MP -44; 330% Damage, 42% chance to stun for 4 seconds.
Level 10: MP -50; 420% Damage, 60% chance to stun for 4 seconds.
Level 20: MP -62; 520% Damage, 80% chance to stun for 8 seconds.
Level 30: MP -74; 620% Damage, 100% chance to stun for 12 seconds.
Description: Shoot arrows with gas bombs attached to the tip. Monsters hit by these bombs will be angered and you will receive more experience.
Level 1: MP -31, increases 11% of enemy’s def and EXP rate.
Level 10: MP -34, increases 20% of enemy’s def and EXP rate.
Level 20: MP -40, increases 30% of enemy’s def and EXP rate.
Level 30: MP -46, increases 40% of enemy’s def and EXP rate.
Description: Improve your strength for a period of time. Your jaguar’s body will instantly gain red wings. MaxHP, damage, and movement speed will be greatly improved.

Level 10: MP -38; +10% Attack, +10 speed, +40% MaxHP for 50 seconds.

Of course! were the Warriors,Magicians,Bowmen,or Thieves erased when they made the Pirates? NO! were the explorers erased when they made Cygnus Knights? NO! were the Explorers or Cygnuses erased when Aran and Evan came? NO! were the Explorers, Cygnuses, Arans, Evans erased when they made the Dual Blades? NO! They all were just improved to match the new ones! check you skills after the big bang, they will probably be much better.

No, well not exactly. Wild Hunters have attacks like bowman, but there is the jaguar, who is close range. So basically, your bow attacks are long range and jaguar is close range
I don’t think there is a minimum range anymore after big bang. Gonna have to come back to you on this 😛

well, the “roar” skill in maplestory has always been a mob skill for whatever classes use it, so im thinking it should be a mob skill
i sure hope so… or we have no knockback… therefore… were screwed if we dont have a tank in our party during cpq’s…

Wild Hunters are out yet, so I don’t know how to make them, but I am guessing they will come out in October or November.

The NPCs and the characters will stay. You just won’t be able to make new ones. I think Wild Hunters are going to be permanent though.
i think a GM from nexon was on a server i used to play and decided to look at what I once complained about ( you never know), cuz one time I got a taming mob from my crossbowmen and I started screaming in the game and yelling that nexon needs to have a job that could use a bow to shoot mobs while riding on a pet,(I said it would be a big hit to the public). This event happened about 2-3years ago so if that person became a GM it would be around now

The black mage is a NPC or Boss in MapleStory. He is suppose to be someone trying to attack the Maple World. The Evan and the Aran are the one who fight him. You can fight him by doing the quests on either of those jobs. He is not hard to beat and doesn’t really drop anything good either. He is just part of the storyline.

I’ve played Aran and Evan, but I’ve never seen OR fought the black mage. Just members of the Black Wings.
For some reason, the gif image which too big (larger than ur blog form) cant animate

I tried. If you resize, it doesn’t animate either. Just click it for animation.

yes. That is part of what makes them so special and new.
btw, how many skill points they got level 1-10?
Same as normal. I think those skills are gotten from quests and automatically have 1 SP when acquired.

they get skill points upto lvl 10 so u can max
out all the skills and the trap and hunter’s call,
they r already maxed (max lvl 1) u dont hav to put
points into it
in conclusion:::: u can max all 3 skills as a citizen

They don’t have a mount. But, they have a buff which makes them ride on a black jaguar. It isn’t really a mount because they can attack with and on it.
so i heard that in the test servers that this class gets inherit critical (passive) but it was unaddabledue to a glitch and was invisible?

Not sure. I know that under the database, they should have a critical skill. However, in the kMS tespia (test) server, they did not get that skill. Those stories are just speculations. Right now we are not sure if they have a critical skill or not. It could also have been for the re-balance patch, since many other jobs are also getting passive criticals in that patch.
